Overview:

For the American Girl: Adventures voice game we conducted an extensive search for royalty free music using third party resources for different genres including Blues, Classical, Country, Folk, Gospel, Hip-Hop/Rap, Jazz, Lullaby, Motown, Polka, Pop, Ragtime, Rock & Roll, Soul, Swing/Big Band, and Tango. After compiling potential game background music we worked with game designers and producers on approving the assets, which were then worked on by external audio editors.
